Significance of Aquarian Age.........

The Age of Aquarius is either the current or new age in the cycle of astrological ages. Each astrological age is approximately 2,150 years long, on average, but there are various methods of calculating this length that may yield longer or shorter time spans depending upon the technique used     Nicholas Campion in The Book of World Horoscopes lists various references from mainly astrological sources for the start of the Age of Aquarius. Based on the research by Nicholas Campion most published material on the subject state that the Age of Aquarius arrived in the 20th century . Astrological ages exist as a result of precession of the equinoxes. The slow wobble of the Earth's spin axis on the celestial sphere is independent of the diurnal rotation of the Earth on its own axis and the annual revolution of the Earth around the Sun..

The Aquarian Age is known as " the epoch of new knowledge pouring like Holy Water onto the Earth from the Creator  " In popular culture it usually refers to the heyday of the hippie and New Age movements in the 1960s and 1970s. The New Age movement is more accurately a phenomenon and yet seen by many as the harbinger of this future changeover of values associated with the arrival or imminent arrival of the Aquarian age. There is a belief that when the Aquarian Age comes all people of the Earth will find themselves in a blissful “fourth dimension”… before moving any further the importance of these dimensions need to be understood clearly .In total, there are 7 spatial dimensions (eons, lokas). They cannot be studied with physical devices. Yet all they can be cognized with a developed human consciousness.Among these dimensions there are hell, paradise, the eons filled with “building material” for formation of matter and souls, and also the eons of the Holy Spirit (Brahman) and the Creator (God-the-Father, the Primordial Consciousness).By using the freedom of will, people chose — consciously or not — in what eon they live now and after disembodiment.People who accustomed themselves to living in coarse emotional states settle in hell.Those living in harmony and tender love come to paradise. If such people in addition dedicated their lives to serving God and sincerely choose Him as the Main Beloved — they have a chance to cognize Him and to merge into Him as consciousnesses. This is considered as age of the knowledge about God, about man, about the meaning of human life on the Earth and the ways of its realization.The personal direct cognition of the Creator in His various Manifestations and Mergence with Him is the ultimate goal of all positively evolving human souls!The Aquarian Age brings happiness not to all people but only to those actually  transforming themselves in accordance with the directions of God.”
Ages are believed by some astrologers to affect mankind while other astrologers believe the ages correlate to the rise and fall of mighty civilizations and cultural tendencies. Aquarius traditionally "rules" electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealists, modernisation, astrology, nervous disorders, rebels and rebellion. Other keywords and ideas believed associated with Aquarius are nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, humanity and irresolution. The appearance or elevation in status of many of these Aquarian developments over the last few centuries is considered by many astrologers to indicate the proximity of the Aquarian age. There is no uniform agreement about the relationship of these recent Aquarian developments and the Age of Aquarius. Some astrologers believe that the influence of a New Age is experienced before it arrives because of a cuspal effect or Orb of Influence. Other astrologers believe the appearance of Aquarian developments, indicate the actual arrival of the Age of Aquarius.

Periods of time - Kalpa,Yugas and Brahma.

                                                      
 Before we come to an understanding of Kalpas( which follows in my nxt post ) its important to understand the calculations of Period of time
as described in Mahabharata and Bhagvad Gita.

"Two kalpas constitute a day and night of Brahma. A "month of Brahma" is supposed to contain thirty such days (including nights), or 259.2 billion years. According to the Mahabharata, 12 months of Brahma (=360 days) constitute his year, and 100 such years the life cycle of the universe. Fifty years of Brahma are supposed to have elapsed, and we are now in the shvetavaraha-kalpa of the fifty-first; at the end of a Kalpa the world is destroyed "
According to Bhagvad Gita it is understood that material universe is limited.There is a mention of four types of Yugas (ages) Satya ,Treta,Dvapara and Kali..Satya Yuga lasts for 1,728,000 years,Treta 1,296,000,Dvapara 8,64,000 and Kalki,the Yuga we are living in for over past 5000 years lasts for 4,32,000 years .  In Kali-yuga vice increases to such a point that at the termination of the yuga the Supreme Lord Himself appears as the Kalki avatāra, vanquishes the demons, saves his devotees, and commences another Satya-yuga. Then the process is set rolling again.These four Yugas ,rotating a thousand times ,comprise one day(this one day is  known as Kalpa which consists of a thousand cycles of Yugas ) of Brahma and it takes the same number to comprise one night. Brahma lives one hundred of such years and then dies.(Bhagavad -Gita)

An understanding of Brahman......

                                     

As per hindu scriptures Brahman is one supreme universal spirit ,a spirit which is neither male nor female thus considered , gender neutral and  is the origin and support of the universe.It is the ultimate essence of material phenomena that can not be seen or heard but whose natures known through ones beliefs of self knowledge Brahman is  considered to be the foundation from which material things originate and to which they return after their dissolution. Brahman is infinite Being, infinite Consciousness, and infinite Bliss.Brahman is proclaimed to be the reality behind everything in this universe. So, from the perspective of the Body, Atma (Soul or Self) is Brahman. From the perspective of the World, Brahma (the "Creator" deity)is deemed as the Brahman.  From the perspective of Knowledge, Veda is Brahman. So, in one sense whatever we see around is all Brahman. Brahman is hence not an unidimensional aspect. It needs to be viewed and understood from varied perspectives.infinite Bliss.  Brahman is the Ultimate Truth, so in comparison to Brahman, every other thing, including the material world, its distinctiveness, the individuality of the living creatures are all untrue.It is Brahman , which is behind everything that exists and can possibly exist.  it is beyond human comprehension.As explained inThe Hindu Vedas and Upanishads "Truth is one", and all is Brahman. This explains the Hindu view that "All paths lead to the one Truth, though many sages (and religions) call upon it by different names.

To conclude "Brahman is everything - everything you see in front of you plus countless things you cannot see. It is obsccured by Maya, which is also an attribute of Brahman"

The beginning of new age

 

There are various  theories about world coming to an end 2012 . .A scientist named Zecharia Sitchin states that Nibiru has been involved in a planetary collision sometime in history,destroying a planet known as Tiamat located between Mars and Jupiter and within the solar system. The following event was belived to have created Earh,Moon and the astroid belt. It is strongly belived that Nibiru is expected to collide with earth again in 2012.
 According to the Sumerian documents, the meaning of Nibiru means “planet of the crossing”, hence the popular nickname – Planet X. Planet X is a term generally used by scientists and researchers to distinguish an identified planet.
interpretation of this transition postulates that this date marks the start of time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era. Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar catastrophe. Scenarios suggested for the end of the world include the arrival of the next solar maximum, or Earth's collision with a black hole or a passing asteroid or planet called "Nibiru".
Scholars from various disciplines have dismissed the idea of such cataclysmic events occurring in 2012. Professional Mayanist scholars state that predictions of impending doom are not found in any of the extant classic Maya accounts, and that the idea that the Long Count calendar "ends" in 2012 misrepresents Maya history and culture. Astronomers and other scientists have rejected the proposed events as pseudoscience, stating that they are contradicted by simple astronomical observations.

Its birth pangs began some 4.6 billion years ago as rock and ice particles swirling around the young sun collided and merged, snowballing to produce ever larger planetary building blocks. In violent pileups, they smashed together to create planets, including the infant Earth. In the turmoil, another body, as big as Mars, struck our planet with the energy of trillions of atomic bombs, enough to melt it all the way through. Most of the impactor was swallowed up in the bottomless magma ocean it created. But the collision also flung a small world's worth of vaporized rock into orbit. Debris quickly gathered itself into a ball, and since then Earth history has unfolded beneath the blank stare of the moon.
After the moon's fiery birth, the Earth's surface cooled. Even so, our planet remained an alien world for the next 700 million years; scientists call this time the Hadean, after the Greek underworld. Rafts of solid rock drifted in the magma like dark ice floes. Gases hissed from the cooling rock—carbon dioxide, nitrogen, water vapor, and others—enveloping the planet in a scalding atmosphere devoid of oxygen. As the temperature dropped further, the steam condensed into rain that tell in primordial monsoons and filled the ocean basins.
These first oceans may have been short-lived. Space rubble left over from the birth of the planets—chunks of rock tens to hundreds of miles across—bombarded Earth throughout the Hadean. The greatest impacts might have boiled the oceans away, forcing the process of cooling and condensation to begin again.
By 3.8 billion years ago the impacts relented. Liquid water could persist. About that time, perhaps in the oceans, lifeless chemical reactions crossed a threshold, producing molecules complex enough to reproduce themselves and evolve toward greater complexity. Life was on a road that led, as early as 3.5 billion years ago, to single-celled, blue-green cyanobacteria that flourished in the sunlit parts of the oceans. By the trillions, these microscopic organisms transformed the planet. They captured the energy of the sun to make food, releasing oxygen as a waste product. Little by little they turned the atmosphere into breathable air, opening the way to the diversity of life that followed.
Those days are long gone, but the processes that turned our planet from a hell to a habitable world are still on view today. Primordial heat left over from the planet's formation still bursts out in volcanic eruptions, spilling lava that exudes gases like the young, cooling Earth. In the planet's harshest environments today, cyanobacteria reign as they have for billions of years. And each time a plant gains a toehold on newly cooled lava, the victory of life over lifeless rock—won so long ago on the young Earth—is affirmed again.

Aquarian age........

According to Nicholas Campion there are almost 70 dates for the beginning of the Age of Aquarius covering a range of 1500 years. There is a mention of interesting synchronicity that occured in 1962 involving ninteenth century French hoaxer and known American Jeanne Dixon.In 1890;s Gabriel Jogand primarily to agitate superrstitious Catholics ,deliberately devised and publicized a myth that the Antichrist(there is a mention of antichrist in the form of Lord Kali in Hindu mythology as well ,for ref plz see my previous blog was going to be born in 1962.Campion constructed the horoscope computed from Dixon's estimated time and transposed it to Jerusalem and discovered that there had been a Solar Eclipse on the previous day when all of the traditional seven planets were in the sign of Aquarius. This is an interesting possibility for the entrance of the Age of Aquarius, but was not accompanied by an significant world events which would justify such a selection. This is also true persuasively connected with any major world events which would justify their claims. However, it could be reasons that the entrance into the Age of Aquarius is an inner, rather han an outer transformation, which could be the case.

 

And the fact is according to various prophecies and astrologers  The Age of Aquarius began on Feb4;1962 and was seen in all the countries  in the world,by scientists,astrologers,etc. It is a proven fact,at tht time a there was an eclipse of the sun and the moon ,the Astronomers of the whole world were witness to something unexpected. All  planets of our solar system met in council under constellation of Aquarius,such an event happens only when an age occurs.

Understanding Mayan Calendar .........

The Maya developed their calendar long before the Julian or Gregorian calendars came into existence. The Mayan Calendar is based on naturally occurring energy cycles and a close connection to Mother Earth, the Sun, and the Pleiades. Because the Maya honored Mother Earth and the energy cycles that are present here, they were in tune with the cycles. They had access to information that is not available to 'modern people' because 'modern people' are extremely limited by their belief systems.
The Maya gained knowledge about many cycles which occur on Earth. They recognized a 13-day cycle of energy which comes from galactic(as explained in my previous post Deciphering Vedas)  sources. They also came to know a 20-day energy cycle coming from the Sun. By studying the cycles and their interaction with each other, the Maya gained an understanding of life on Earth that far exceeds our 'modern' beliefs. Fortunately, this knowledge is becoming available to us at this time to assist in our 'return to natural harmony'...
As the Grand Cycle nears completion, something very interesting is also happening in the Pleiades constellation. The star Maya is the 3rd star of the Pleiades constellation. The star Maya passes through the Photon Band(As explained in my previous post deciphring Vedas) for about 2000 years and out of the band for about 1,200 years. It's orbital path around Alcyone the Central Sun (as explained in my  previous post Deciphering Vedas)  is shorter since it is closer to Alcyone. Our Sun will enter the Photon Band in 1998 and become completely within the Band by 2002. As our Sun leaves the Galactic Night and enters the Band, the star Maya also enters the Photon Band. These two stars are synchronized at this time. As the star Maya returns to the Photon Band, the Mayan Beings of Light are returning to Earth to assist us as the Grand Cycle comes to completion. Grand Events are about to occur and Ancient Wisdom is returning to Earth. Know that you have all chosen to be here on Earth at this time to experience what will be...
Time is not linear. We have been taught to think of Time as only going forward, from one point to another. It is more accurate to think of Time as a spiral, as cycles. In an ancient time, our Mother Earth was pristine and all of her life forms lived in harmony and honor. It is possible to heal the Earth and restore Her to her pristine state by merging the Ancient Times with the present. To accomplish this, we must first rid ourselves of the limitation of believing that Time is linear. The Mayan and Dreamspell Calendars can assist us greatly in coming to a greater understanding of Time. It is something that must be experienced. We create our Reality. For whatever reason or purpose, the mass consciousness of humanity is embracing linear time and creating a very limited reality. Though many people have an intuitive sense that the end of the Mayan calendar" will bring a shift in consciousness Yet, it is rarely clearly stated or explained exactly what is the source of such a shift, how it will happen or what would be its nature. Maybe however shifts in consciousness are actually a little less mysterious than many people tend to believe. In fact, shifts in consciousness have been happening from the beginning of time and continue to happen whenever there is a significant energy shift in the Mayan calendar, such as between any of its days and nights. Despite all these previous shifts in cosmic history , there is something very special and significant with the new consciousness that may be expected to be generated by the ninth wave.

Arrival of Golden Age.........

"For the protection of the helpless and suffering humanity the Lord Himself will take some measure and He will manifest Himself as the Avataar. For the protection of the lowly and for ending the burden of the earth, the Lord will incarnate Himself. At the end of the Iron Age and by the very beginning of Satyuga/ Golden Age, the Lord will incarnate Himself for the protection of the lowly, And will perform wonderful sports and in this way the incarnated  will come destroy the enemies- according to sikhism'
There are several interpretations of what Avatars are and to what purpose they act. Avatar means "descent" and indicates a direct descent of Lord on earth There is a mention of 10 Avatars in Garuda Purana lists , with Kalki (Avatar) being the tenth. The Bhagavata Purana initially lists twenty-two avatars, but mentions an additional three leading to a  total of twenty-five avatars. Kalki is presented as the twenty-second avatar '
According to Kalki purana, an Avataar , who has power to change the course of time stream in the favour of the good. He will be one to whom the power to change the destiny of the world will be given.It states the evil family of the  Kalki  will spring from the back of Brahma(Brahmin an upper caste). They will descend to earth and cause mankind to turn towards depravity. When man stops offering yagna(Hindu Ritual) to the gods, Vishnu(Supreme power/god of universe) himself will descend to earth to rid the world of evil. He will be reborn as Kalki to noted Brahmin(Hindu caste) family in the city of Shambhala. As a young man, He will be mentored in the arts of war by Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu. He will then set out across the world battling evil kings and false prophets. He finally defeats Kali/Demon and brings about the Satya yuga(Golden Age). Having completed His mission, He will assume his four-armed form and return to heaven as Vishnu.(Lord of Universe)

 

Arrival of Golden Age as per Puranas

 

The Agni Purana explains that when the evil men who pose as kings begin to feed on human beings and try to destroy the righteous, Kalki, as the son of Vishnuyasha, and Yajnavalkya as his priest and teacher, will destroy these evil men with His weapons. He will establish moral law in the form of the fourfold varnas, or the suitable organization of society in four classes. After that people will return to the path of righteousness. The Agni Purana also relates that Hari (god), after giving up the form of Kalki(Avatar), will go to heaven. Then the Satya Yuga(Golden Age) will return as before.

 

The Vishnu Purana also explains that, "When the practices taught in the Vedas and institutes of law have nearly ceased, and the close of the Demon age shall be nigh, a portion of that divine being who exists of His own spiritual nature, and who is the beginning and end, and who comprehends all things, shall descend upon earth. He will be born in the family of Vishnuyasha, an eminent brahmin of Shambhala village, as Kalki, endowed with eight superhuman faculties. By His irresistible might he will destroy all the barbarians and thieves, and all whose minds are devoted to iniquity. He will reestablish righteousness upon earth, and the minds of those who live at the end of the Kali age(Demon age) shall be awakened, and shall be as clear as crystal. The men who are thus changed by virtue of that peculiar time shall be as the seeds of human beings, and shall give birth to a race who will follow the laws of the Golden Age or Satya Yuga, the age of purity. As it is said, 'When the sun and moon, and the lunar asterism Tishya, and the planet Jupiter, are in one mansion, the Golden Age  shall return.'"

 

 The Padma Purana relates that Lord Kalki will end the age of Kali(demon)

 and will kill all the wicked barbarians and, thus, destroy the bad condition of the world. He will gather all of the distinguished brahmins(upper caste) and will propound the highest truth. He will know all the ways of life that have perished and will remove the prolonged hunger of the genuine brahmin(an upper caste) and the pious. He will be the only ruler of the world that cannot be controlled, and will be the banner of victory and adorable to the world.

The Bhagavata Purana states, "At the end of Demon Age, when there exist no topics on the subject of God, even at the residences of so-called saints and respectable gentlemen , and when the power of government is transferred to the hands of ministers elected from the evil men, and when nothing is known of the techniques of sacrifice, even by word, at that time the Lord will appear as the supreme chastiser.  It further describes Lord Kalki's(Avaatar's/lord of universe) activities as follows: "Lord Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount His swift white horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, travel over the earth exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying His unequaled effulgence and riding with great speed, He will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings."
